The name "MeeRa Soundarya Lahari" pays homage to Meerabai, a fearless feminist visionary and devotee of Lord Krishna. Despite her royal background, and abuse from in-laws, Mirabai challenged societal norms, particularly opposing animal sacrifices for deities, advocating for the acceptance of all castes, and questioned the authority of every mortal man around her.

The Soundarya Lahari text, integral to Tantric Hinduism, embodies love for the mother and the concept that inner beauty manifests as outer radiance. Reciting it is believed to attract attractiveness, a glowing complexion, and a pleasant aura, emphasising the importance of inner peace and beauty.

About MeeRa Foundation
MeeRa Foundation a divine initiative coming straight from the soul of the Founders. This indeed has the Blessings of the Guru and the Divine Mother. Every human has their own life cycle and karmic journey. In the spiritual realm there is no differentiation on the basis of gender. We all are divine souls and are loved equally by the kind Lord.
In the physical dimension, the soul embraces a body to express and fulfil its purpose. Here the sensitivity of gender comes in. Living this life in the body of a female, I could gather more insights, feelings and empathy for women. A woman who is suffering and feeling suppressed is never because of others. They are born powerful and beautiful....just that in going through the contours of life, they forget their inner strength. Intent here is to awaken and ignite the power within. Let the women know that they are unstoppable, help them, heal and transform so that they can move forward with joy and attain their purpose of life.
Women, cows and Mother Earth are "Janani " (the one who gives birth). For a healthy and happy present and future of all beings, it is important that we respect, love and take care of them.
